Photos from the third annual GA Voice Best of Atlanta awards party On Friday, July 6, 2012,the staff of GA Voice hosted its third annual Best of Atlanta party at the W Midtown, celebrating the nominees and winners of its 2012 Best of Atlanta reader survey. Attendees included U.S. Rep. John Lewis (D-Atlanta), winner of the Best Local Politician and Best Straight Ally awards, and Clermont Lounge's Blondie, winner of this year's Local Icon award. The party was emceed by Melissa Carter and music was provided by DJs Vicki Powell and Mike Pope. Attendees enjoyed complimentary wine by Barefoot Wine and our complimentary signature cocktail by High Liquors and bites from Feast Catering and Southern Sweets Bakery.
