Jungle hosted it's monthly "Fantasy Girls" show which featured 'RuPaul's Drag Race' winner Sharon Needles. From about 9:30 - 10:30 p.m., some 15 local activists held signs and passed out leaflets outside the club, protesting Needle's controversial comments, including the use of racial epithets. Despite the protest, the club was packed as Alissa Brooks, Envy Van Michaels, Savannah Leigh, Phoenix and others performed before Needles took the stage. She emerged from a coffin with an "Art is dead" sign in one hand and a Bible in the other. Needles tore the Bible up, mixed vodka and real cash money in a blender, spit vodka on the crowd among other things in her intentionally sinister performance to Marilyn Mason's "Beautiful People."
