The National Gay and Lesbian Task Force, host of the largest LGBT conference in the nation, also honored gay journalist and undocumented immigrant Jose Antonio Vargas with the Creating Change Award; Bishop Gene Robinson with the Susan J. Hyde Award for Longevity in the Movement; Daniel Hernandez, the gay intern of former U.S. Rep. Gabby Giffords and who is credited with saving her life with the Youth Leadership Award; and its Leather Leadership Award to Race Bannon. (Photos by Dyana Bagby)
