500- Participants in Lithuania’s first Gay Pride march, held May 8 600- Lithuanian police on hand to control the marchers and their opponents 1,000- Anti-gay protesters, who had to be held back with tear gas from attacking the Lithuanian pride march 1,168- Confirmed guests as of May 10 on the Facebook page of the 40th annual Atlanta Pride Festival. Set for Oct. 9-10, the event is expected to draw more than 100,000.
