[Video] Atlanta drag personality pleads guilty to sex charges; makes emotional plea for mercy

Former Atlanta drag personality Pasha Nicole, whose legal name is Christopher Lynch, pleaded guilty today to sexual exploitation of children and other charges before a Douglas County Superior Court judge.

Douglas County Assistant District Attorney Rachel Ackley today said Lynch pleaded guilty to one count of pimping, one count of pandering by compulsion and two counts of sexual exploitation of children.

Lynch was sentenced to 30 years to serve 14 in prison, Ackley added.

In a tearful and emotional plea before the judge, Lynch said what happened was a big mistake.

"I don't even know where to begin. I've made a lot of mistakes in my life but this is by far the most utterly stupid one I've made," Lynch told the judge, according to WSB TV.

"For the first time in a really long time, like four years, I'm thinking clearly because I don't have the drugs running through me and I'm so sorry. I feel really bad," Lynch said.

Lynch's victim was identified as being 16 and was forced to have sex every day while being kept in the house where Lynch was living, according to WSB TV.

"The defendant was manipulative, she [the victim] said he was scary and that he was commanding. He withheld when he needed to withhold to make sure people did what he wanted them to do," Ackley said, according to WSB TV.

Christopher Lynch, also known as Pasha Nicole, indicted on human trafficking charges

Lynch was arrested last March and was charged with trafficking minors for sex.

Also arrested in the case was gay bar BJ Roosters' former go-go dancer Stephen Lemery. Lemery remains in the Douglas County Sheriff's jail and his case is in a "holding pattern" right now, Ackley said last week.

A total of 18 indictments were handed down against Lynch and Lemery last March.

According to the Douglas County Sheriff’s website last March when the arrests were announced, Pasha Nicole was identified as Christopher Thomas Lynch. Lynch and Lemery were charged with trafficking minors and Lemery was charged with trafficking an adult. Douglas County is located about 20 miles west of Atlanta.

“Multiple victims in this case have been identified from Alabama, South Carolina and Georgia. Some of these victims are minors,” the sheriff’s office reported last year.

Lemery, whose Facebook page under the name Steven Lang, lists him as a go-go dancer at gay bar BJ Roosters.

Douglas County law enforcement also identify Lynch as Pasha Nicole at the time of the arrest.

“Lynch, more commonly known in the Metro Atlanta GLBT community as Pasha Nicole, has been charged with human trafficking of a minor person for sexual servitude, two counts of sexual exploitation of a child, pandering by compulsion and possession of drug related objects,” the news release states.

Pasha Nicole competed in the first season of the “Dragnique” drag competition held at Jungle, which ran from January to Feb. 18, 2011. Pasha Nicole was voted out of the drag competition by the judges early in the competition but brought back for a wild card event.

The investigation was conducted with assistance from the Human Trafficking Unit of the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement, Homeland Security Investigations.

Lemery was arrested March 2, 2011, and in an interview on March 2, 2011, with Atlanta's Fox 5 news station, Pasha Nicole was identified as one of Lemery's housemates and said she assisted police in the investigation of Lemery.

Fox 5 reported Lemery used social networking sites to lure teen boys to have sex with him at his house on Chapel Hill Road but then would not allow them to leave. Lemery also allegedly did not feed the boys and kept them locked in a closet.

In the interview with Fox 5, Pasha Nicole said she saw many boys coming in to Lemery's home and asked one boy his age.

"There was a vast amount of different boys coming into his house," Pasha Nicole told Fox 5. She said she asked one boy his age and he told her he was 15.

But Douglasville Sheriff Chief Deputy Stan Copeland told the GA Voice last year that Christopher Lynch, as he referred to Pasha Nicole, was arrested March 4, 2011, after another alleged victim called the department and said he recognized Pasha Nicole from local TV news reports as his abuser.

"I believe his [Pasha Nicole] side of the story is he was assisting us," Copeland said. "He told local media he came forward to help us — that is incorrect," Copeland said last year.
