A former prison doctor for the U.S. Penitentiary in Atlanta pleaded guilty today to sexually abusing three inmates. The abuse occurred in October 2011 when the three inmates sought medical treatment, according to a story in the Atlanta Journal-Constitution. The former physician, Lewis Jackson, pleaded guilty to sexually molesting the inmates. He tried to perform oral sex on three inmates during their physicals and also tried to have anal sex with one inmate, the AJC reports. Jackson appeared in court with his wife and parents. Jackson is being prosecuted by the U.S. Attorney's office. He was slated to plead guilty in August but attempted suicide and had to be hospitalized. Read the entire story here.
