Mayor Kasim Reed appeared on Fox 5 "Good Day Atlanta" show Tuesday morning and announced he was increasing the reward to $25,000 for clues in the brutal attack on Brandon White, a young Atlanta gay man. "Every time we have raised the reward amount we have gotten more and more tips," Reed said. "I am not going to tolerate this kind of senseless violence." Atlanta Police have made one arrest in the case — Christopher Cain, 18. Cain is charged with aggravated assault and robbery. The APD has identified the two other suspects. White was attacked by gang members on Feb. 4 outside a neighborhood grocery store. The attack was videotaped and then uploaded to a hip hop website where it has gone viral.
