The Museum of Design Atlanta is setting up a mobile photo booth in the parking lot of Blake's on the Park on Sunday to take photos of people holding a 5-foot high AIDS ribbon for "Atlanta's biggest AIDS poster" to be unveiled on World AIDS Day.

People watching the Atlanta Pride parade on Sunday as it marches through the streets of the city are invited to get their photo made with the ribbon, made of red faux fur and feather boa materials, between 11 a.m. and 3 p.m.

"Anyone who gets their picture taken with the 5-foot ribbon and then visits MODA will get their own poster emailed to them," MODA says in a press release.

"Once complete, the images will be taken and used for construction of the largest AIDS awareness poster ever constructed in Atlanta … on Dec. 1, 2011." World AIDS Day is recognized on Dec. 1.

The poster will be unveiled at MODA on Dec. 1 and the gallery will remain open for 24 hours that day in honor of World AIDS Day.

Atlanta-based The Titan Agency and Danny Acres Photography are working on the project with MODA.

Creating the large AIDS awareness poster is part of MODA's current exhibit, "Graphic Intervention: 25 Years of International AIDS Posters" which runs through Jan. 1, 2012. More than 150 posters from around the world make up this exhibit which shows different ways artists used images and words to remember those who have died of AIDS while also trying to spread the message of prevention.

"Graphic Intervention" is combined with an exhibit of panels from the AIDS Memorial Quilt and different blocks of the quilt are being shown each month.

The parking lot for Blake's on the Park is located at the corner of 10th and Piedmont.
