From Dragon*Con themed parties to DJs spinning at the clubs, Atlanta’s gay nightlife has something for everyone There are plenty of nightlife options for Labor Day weekend for those not attending Black Gay Pride. Here’s a list of our best bets for Friday: DJ Lydia Prim is the new resident DJ at Heretic and plays tonight and will be spinning every Friday night now that is part of the club’s staff. Piano cocktail hour with David Reed at Mixx lets you relax with cocktails as you listen to the piano stylings of Reed. Soloists are welcome to sing and Reed also takes requests. Welcome Dragon*Con to town in style at Mary’s in East Atlanta with the bar’s Dungeons & Drag Queens party. Hosted by DAX! and the Elf Master Marky with DJ 5 Hour Boner spinning. Wear your best drag outfits, leather gear or fantasy costume to party with this otherworldly crowd. Looking for another way to celebrate Dragon*Con? Check out the sexy, cheeky and downright fun Le Sexoflex performing live at the Drunken Unicorn “in true cock-squattin' fashion.” The band is performing with Athens Boys Choir and other special guests. $5 Cover Looking for love over the long weekend? LGBT speed dating (http://www.facebook.com/event.php?eid=114074811981733&ref=mf) at Bellissima for men and women gives you that chance. A $10 registration fee gets you a free drink. Women sign up at 9 p.m. and their event begins at 9:30 p.m. while the men register at 9:15 p.m. and their event starts at 9:45 p.m. Bellissima For a complete listing of events, check out the calendar from our friends at Project Q Atlanta here.
