EDITORIAL INTERNS The Georgia Voice, the state’s new LGBT media outlet, seeks editorial interns for summer and fall. Interns should have an interest in a career in journalism and basic familiarity with lesbian and gay civil rights issues. Interns will perform a variety of tasks, from compiling calendars and writing news briefs to developing full-length articles for publication in our biweekly print edition and daily website (www.thegavoice.com). Interns will gain experience in interviewing, research and writing; opportunities for digital photography, video, social media and web are also available. Internships are not paid, but we provide supervision for course credit. A minimum commitment of 10 hours per week is required. Office hours are 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.; some evening or weekend assignments are possible.
