Piedmont BARK Launches Gift Certificate Program to Support Those in Need During the Pandemic

Local LGBTQ favorite and Best of Atlanta winner Piedmont BARK has launched a way for customers to have a direct impact on someone who needs help during the coronavirus pandemic.

Piedmont Bark is offering the opportunity for customers to purchase gift certificates (which can be from $25 to more than $100), to be directly given to another Piedmont BARK customer who is either working on the front lines or suffering a major medical crisis. Owner William Campbell said that he’s had many customers having to leave their beloved pets for long hours while they work.

“Over the last month, we have had nurses, doctors, and other medical-related personnel bring their dogs in daily for daycare while they work long hours,” Campbell said. “Sometimes they’ve even had to board their beloved dogs overnight due to working overtime. The same is true for a lot of other folks working in other essential capacities during this time: Long hours with little time to care for their much-loved pets.”

Purchasers of gift certificates will decide whether to make the gift anonymous or not. All certificates will be gifted on a needs basis.

If you have any questions or wish to purchase a certificate, you can call 404-873-5400 or email customercare@piedmontbark.com.

“Our hope is that those of you whoa re able can help those who are in need during this time,” Campbell said. “As promised, Piedmont BARK will continue being here for you and remain committed to providing the highest level of care for our canine friends.”
