The ever popular "Rupaul's Drag Race" on Logo has been picked up for a third season and premieres in January with Atlanta's own Phoenix on the roster of contestants. Also from Atlanta is Mariah, but we are not very familiar with her yet. Atlanta has been represented well on "Rupaul's Drag Race" with Nicole Paige Brooks and Sonique appearing last season on the show. Joining Rupaul and Santino Rice as a permanent judge for the 2011 season is Michelle Visage. "Visage was RuPaul's outspoken sidekick for over 100 episodes of the original RuPaul Show on VH1. Many also know Visage as a member of the 1990s platinum-selling group "Seduction" with the iconic hit 'Two to Make It Right,'" according to a press release. Read about all of the contestants in the third season here. When asked who Phoenix would love to see in drag, she responds with the very sexy Johnny Depp. " Phoenix has been performing for several years in Atlanta and performed Saturday at Jungle for a farewell show for Alexandria Martin, who is making a move to Kansas.
