Narrated by gay actress Jane Lynch, a new film highlighting President Barack Obama's accomplishments on LGBT equality is both a perfect political ad aimed at us, and a poignant message showing that he has done more to recognize us publicly than any other president. From discussing his proudest moment of successfully repealing "Don't Ask, Don't Tell" to his personal journey to finally accepting full marriage equality, Obama says he's got our backs. We can complain about other political issues Obama supports, but, honestly, he deserves recognition for recognizing us. If we are going to be part of a political strategy, then this is exactly where we want to be — being fortunate enough to be listened to. Let's use that to better our lives as well as others who are still not within earshot.
