Fashion designer Kenneth Cole and Academy Award-winning actress Julianne Moore are joining forces with the Human Rights Campaign for the New Yorkers for Marriage Equality Campaign. Two videos featuring Cole and Moore appeared on YouTube over the last few days. Cole, who is straight, is no stranger to advocating gay rights. He states in the ad, “I’ve always believed in the power in the power of matching pairs.”
Julianne Moore also appears in the campaign. “We all deserve the right to marry the person we love. So please join me in supporting New Yorkers for Marriage Equality,” she says. Moore recently starred alongside Annette Bening in “The Kids Are Alright,” a film about two lesbian mothers whose children seek out their biological father, an anonymous sperm donor.
