Louis J. Marinelli, a strategist for the National Organization for Marriage, posted an interesting message via his Twitter account last night.
I’m surprised that someone who works with an organization that actively gathers in protest against same-sex marriage and spent a fortune in California’s Proposition 8 battle would support something so progressive like the repeal of "Don't Ask, Don't Tell."
Who knew? I mean, really?
Something strange is happening, folks.
When NOM came to Atlanta on their “Summer for Marriage” Tour, there were only a handful of participants. Counter-protesters “dwarfed” NOM’s supporters. When Dr. Alveda King spoke at the rally, she compared same-sex marriage to genocide.
Same-sex marriage = genocide. Out servicemembers = fabulous?
This falls right in line with eye-raising comments by Glenn Beck and Elisabeth Hasselbeck about same-sex marriage in the last few weeks.
I’m not ashamed to admit I’m just a little confused.
