Philip Palmer, owner of Radial Café, winner of the best Vegetarian/Organic restaurant in the Georgia Voice Best of Atlanta survey, will be on local news station 11Alive tomorrow morning to discuss the nation-wide egg recall. Radial Café, known for its organic breakfast menu, has not been affected by the recall, according to Palmer, who is gay. So far, more than 550 million eggs have been recalled due to fears of salmonella contamination. Palmer is an advocate for cage-free eggs and will discuss their safety over regular eggs during the segment. Radial Café serves cage-free eggs, which Palmer says have half the instances of salmonella as regular eggs. Be sure to check out Philip on 11Alive between 5 a.m. and 6 a.m. tomorrow morning. The segment will be rebroadcast between 6 a.m. and 7 a.m. For more information on Radial Café, click here.
