Novice Sister Prissy Go-Lightly of the Flaming Sugarbakers, the Atlanta order of the international Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence, hosts the New Years Community Health and Safety Fair. This is a chance for people to meet and learn about organizations who target the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender communities. The fair is more than providing resources for health and safety, however. Social networking will be taking place and, of course, the event is taking place in Amsterdam bar. Have a beer or vodka and cranberry as you learn more about our community. The event takes place from 4-7:30 p.m. Organizations participating include the Atlanta Health Initiative, Positive Impact, AID Atlanta, United 4 Safety, Queer Justice League, Emory Hope Clinic - Life Forward Vaccine Center, Georgia Equality, Lambda Legal and Atlanta Police LGBT liaison Officer Brian Sharp.
