65-year-old singer and icon Cher (too fabulous for a last name) erupted in gay-allied fury all over Minn. Rep. and presidential contender Michele Bachmann. Cher tweeted on Sunday night:

I WOULDNT VOTE 4 YOUR GAY HATING, BULLY LOVING , POSER CHRISTIAN ASS ! Got One From The TEA PARTY 2.l ! Head STILL SPINNING !Not HAPPY With Leaders.of DEMS & PRES. EIither wtf!

CNN anchor Don Lemon, who recently came out as gay, moderated a panel discussion on black LGBT issues during the annual National Association for the Advancement of Colored People conference in Los Angeles over the weekend. There were contentious moments during the discussion, when NAACP CEO Benjamin Jealous was asked how the NAACP could be taken seriously as an advocate for LGBT equality when members of its board have made public anti-gay statements in the recent past.

He posted a video of the family-friendly pre-teen pop group covering Lady Gaga's “Born this Way” earlier this week with the following disclaimer:
“Now before anyone raises any eyebrows or questions whether or not LGBT issues are too mature for little kids…This is an *edited* version. The LGBT verse has been taken out. So watch this video and be happy little kids can sing about loving themselves for just the way they are!”
