Political activist Jimmy McMillan rose to national prominence during the 2010 gubentaroial election in New York as the founder of the “Rent is Too Damn High Party.” His catchphrase, “The rent is too damn high!” was meant to spark economic reforms in the world's financial capitol but has since been co-opted as an internet meme. This week's Meme of the Week honors disco legend, and gay icon Donna Summer, who passed away earlier this week after losing her battle with cancer. Summer was 63.
