Take note, Atlanta. What's the best way to silence a group of anti-gay street preachers encroaching on your Pride celebration? Umm... a flash mob performance to Lady Gaga's “Born This Way,” obviously. As if we needed another reminder of why we must keep fighting for LGBT equality, some street preachers in Phoenix put on quite the show over the weekend during the city's 2012 Pride festival. “God is disgusted with you,” one of the “preachers” said during the protest. “Too ugly to get a man, aren't you?” He then went on to sing everyone's favorite hymn “Yes, Jesus Hates You.” I must have missed that one in Sunday School... Anyway, Pride goers responded the best way possible, by organizing a flash mob dance off and sing-a-long to Lady Gaga. Check out the video below (skip to 5:15 for the dancing): Was that a real voice drag queen strutting her stuff? I think so.
