| GA Voice journalists named finalists in Atlanta Press Club awards |

Indulge us while we brag a little bit: The Atlanta Press Club recently announced finalists for its 2010 Awards of Excellence, and two GA Voice journalists made the list. GA Voice Deputy Editor Dyana Bagby is one of two finalists in the category of Small Print Circulation / News. R. Robin McDonald of The Daily Report is the other finalist in the category. GA Voice Editor Laura Douglas-Brown is one of two finalists in the Opinion category. Ann Woolner of Bloomberg is the other. The Atlanta Press Club will also give Awards of Excellence in categories of Large Print Circulation News, Large Print Circulation Features, Local Television News, Local Television Feature, National Television News, Online/Multimedia News, Online/Multimedia Feature and Photojournalism. The organization will also honor an overall Journalist of the Year. To view the finalists in those categories, please click here. Winners will be announced at a reception June 9 at the Commerce Club.
