Earlier today, Atlanta gay bar 3 Legged Cowboy announced via its Facebook page that it was closing, effective at the end of April: “Rumors are true. We have sad news. Saturday, April 30th will be our last night open. Make sure to come this week and dance. We love everyone of you and appreciate the support over the years. Spread the word.” Just yesterday, 3 Legged Cowboy posted a message on its Facebook page promoting a June 4 event with DJ Joey. The bar was known for its weekly two-step dance lessons and its country and western flair. It is located in the Midtown Promenade shopping center along with F.R.O.G.S Cantina and Metrofresh.
